Over the years we have strived to improve community outcomes with our projects:
Lockyer Valley Regional Council
Reference Guide Development
After the 2011 and 2013 floods Lockyer Valley Regional Council wanted to do something different for the heavily impacted Laidley business community. Starting a project that is still going today. For weeks our team walked the streets to listening to the challenges, ideas and innovations of the local business commmunity, resulting in the business resilience guide.
The end product was a combination of the local knowledge and best practice. The Council regularly updates the booklet and in 2026 is planning the next iteration for the whole region.
Moreton Bay Regional Council
Recovery Plan Development
The global pandemic of 2020 was the most disruptive event this generation has ever seen. Bringing all stakeholder groups together to plan and deliver for the Moreton community and economy in their time of need was a rewarding project to work on.
Logan City Council
Integrated Response Capability
The City of Logan is one of the largest and fastest growing cities in Australia. To Council is growing with the community and it was recognised that an integrated system between the disaster response and the Council response to crises and disruption was required.
Since 2023 our team has been working with Logan to design, implement, train, test and improve the intedgarted arrangements. Significant efficiences are achieved by having one training program, one exercise program and consistent terminonoloy and processes across all response capabilites.
City of Ipswich
2022 Flood After Action Review
During the 2022 flood, staff from across Council and partner agencies came together to support the Local Disaster Coordination Centre and Local Recovery and Resilience Group. Even though many outstanding achievements were noted, there is always opportunity to learn.
Ipswich City Council embraced that opportunity and went the extra step by publishing the reports. Our review covered the operational aspects, as well as the strategic, resulting in two reports.
